I made these improvements in the last two weeks to make it more professional.
> Originally I only plugged wordpress into msacademy. So I registered with wordpress, got an API and installed the site stats plugin (Now I know how many people visited from where and what they are wearing (-:))
> Installed Akismet to stop spammers from entering comments. (BTW when you are here, reading is nice, discussing is even better – feel free to comment if you want to say something.)
> Got feedburner feeds and changed the direction of RSS to feedburner. (Feedburner is what is sending you the mails from my blog. Also made subscribing easier and direct from the blog site sidebar.)
> Added “Share this” button to every blog through a plugin (Use it pl)
> In fact I have created an Adwords ad for the blog site (Got 25 visitors through that at 2 rs each!!)
> Changed structure of permalinks to make the name in the address bar look good
> Added google xml sitemap and cloud tags (You can see it in the sidebar) to make the site SEO friendly.
> Added a google custom search button
> Added a plugin called WP Super Cache so that pages loads faster as cached HTML and not build from DB.
and of course added 10-15 articles. I want to make this blog a forum to discuss project management success stories, pain points, unique solutions and so on. BTW You should also consider contributing to the blog. Just follow this link and register http://msacademy.in/wordpress/wp-login.php?action=register . Try it. It is cool! Bring out the author in you. You will get an MS Academy souvenir if you write an article.
It is a wooden pen stand. You will love it. Of course it comes with a pen!!
